Ever wonder why coral peonies cost a little more?

Coral peonies can be hard to grow in Alaska. They don't tolerate cold very well and of course, Alaska is known for being cold. We cover them with water proof insulated blankets in the winter and then special light weight frost blankets (pictured below) to help with our springs freezes. Our corals get lots and lots of extra loving care and they are definitely worth it.
